About DMV Accessibility
DMV Accessibility connects homeowners in Southern Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia with independently owned, licensed contractors who perform aging-in-place home modifications. DMV Accessibility itself does not perform installation work — we schedule your free assessment and coordinate with the contractor serving your zone.
The Free Assessment
The in-home safety assessment is provided at no cost and with no obligation to purchase any service. Pricing discussed on this site reflects starting prices; your final quote depends on your home's layout, materials, and scope of work, and is provided after your in-home assessment.
Not Medical Advice
DMV Accessibility and the contractors in our network provide home modification services, not medical care or advice. Nothing on this site should be treated as a medical recommendation. Consult a physician or licensed healthcare provider regarding any medical condition or mobility need.
Third-Party Contractors
Contractors in our network are independent businesses, not employees of DMV Accessibility. We take reasonable steps to verify licensing, insurance, and aging-in-place certification before referring work, but each contractor is responsible for the quality and completion of their own work under their own warranty and licensing obligations.
Funding & Grant Information
Information about grants, VA benefits, Medicaid waivers, and tax credits on this site is provided for general awareness only. DMV Accessibility does not administer these programs and cannot guarantee eligibility, approval, or funding amounts. Confirm current program details directly with the administering agency.
Website Use
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when requesting an assessment or contacting us. We may decline to schedule service based on incomplete or inaccurate information.
Limitation of Liability
DMV Accessibility is not liable for delays, damages, or disputes arising from work performed by independent contractors in our network, to the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law. Any service agreement, warranty, or dispute regarding installed work is between you and the performing contractor.
Changes to These Terms
